Booking information

All bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis. Please book by post on the enclosed application form together with the appropriate deposit or full payment. We will inform you immediately if a course is oversubscribed or (in exceptional circumstances) cancelled and return your full payment. Availability of places is posted on the web site.

The remainder of the course fee is due one month prior to the start of the course.

Directions to the course venue, a candidate profile, a list of tools and clothing, a list of recommended B&B's and other essential information will be sent on receipt of booking form.
Please note the start time on the first day is 10.00am, (9.30am for Chain Saw courses). If you would like any further details, please contact us.

Camping in the wood is free. Facilities are basic but there is mains water, a compost loo, a cooking fire and a gas cooker.

Cancellations
Your deposit or full course fee will be refunded (minus a £20 cancellation charge) provided a written cancellation is received at least six weeks before the start of the course. After that we will do our best to fill that place but cannot usually make a refund otherwise.

Dogs
Due to a variety of activities in and around the woods, dogs are strongly discouraged. Please discuss it with us beforehand if this presents a problem.

Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers for our courses are available throughout the year and can be purchased for any amount you nominate.They make a greatly appreciated birthday or retirement gift.
